About the Gemstone
Sapphire is the birthstone for September. Sapphire is a precious gemstone (a type of corundum) that ranges in colour from blue to pink to yellow to green to white to purple to pink-orange.
The September birthstone has traditionally symbolized sincerity, truth, faithfulness and nobility.
