ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Karen Morrison is an award winning jewellery designer and silversmith creating fine and fashion jewellery which is both feminine and edgy with a rock chic vibe.

Karen first studied Fashion Design in Glasgow, her hometown, then moved to London where she worked as a Fashion Model for many years. Feeling the urge to learn more, Karen studied Jewellery, Art and Design in London, then worked with various designers learning the trade.

Each piece is created by hand in her South London studio in vibrant Brixton. She uses the ancient lost wax casting techniques along side Hatton Garden tradesmen for stone setting and gold plating. She loves working with colourful precious and semi-precious gemstones, rough cut diamonds, freshwater pearls mixed with sterling silver, 9ct gold, 14ct gold filled and bronze metals.
